Tobacco Seed Shop was one of the internet's very first tobacco seed stores. The project started in England in 1999 as a simple five-page website offering just two varieties. Today we serve growers worldwide with more than 60 strains, each chosen for heritage, reliability, and popularity among collectors and cultivators.

We specialise exclusively in tobacco seeds — not vegetable or flower seeds, and not processed tobacco products. Our work is driven by years of research into tobacco cultivation, seed sourcing, and global agricultural practice.

Why people grow tobacco
Growers choose tobacco for many reasons — botanical interest, heritage preservation, gardening as a hobby, or historical study. Cultivation can be rewarding when done legally and responsibly.
Factory-made cigarettes are a different product from plain cured leaf. Regulators allow hundreds of added ingredients in commercial manufacture.
